What happens in a consultation?

Our initial consultation is in-clinic, in Seymour, and runs 1 to 1.5 hours. It includes a full physical musculoskeletal examination, along with a review of your dog’s veterinary history and any diagnostic imaging you have, such as X-rays or ultrasound. This gives Dr Malcolm the clearest possible picture of what’s going on and what your options look like from here.

If you’re unable to get to Seymour, telehealth consultations with Dr Malcolm are available Australia-wide, running approximately 1 hour.

For referring veterinarians

While a referral isn’t required for dog owners to book with us, we know many of our clients come to us on the recommendation of their regular vet, and we’re glad to work alongside you.

The Dog Mobility Clinic is an extension of your practice, not competition. We help your clients’ dogs achieve better mobility outcomes, while you stay at the centre of their care.

Rehab that complements what you do. Advanced therapies including stem cell therapy, PRP, laser therapy, and structured post-op programs that enhance your treatment plan without duplicating your services.

Better long-term outcomes. Targeted rehabilitation supports healing, improves function, and can reduce ongoing medication dependence for dogs recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.

You stay in the loop. Regular assessment reports and progress updates that respect your diagnosis and integrate with your ongoing care.

We only do rehab. We don’t offer general veterinary services, vaccinations, or routine care. Your relationship with your client stays intact.

Post-orthopaedic or spinal surgery

Persistent lameness not responding to conservative management
